3. Document Data

Documents you upload are processed to extract text and generate analysis. Document content is stored securely and used only for providing the Service to you. We use document hashing (SHA-256) for deduplication purposes. Document embeddings are stored for semantic search functionality. We do not share your document content with third parties except as necessary to provide the Service (e.g., AI model providers for analysis).

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate RLP Scout:

• Stripe — Payment processing
• Anthropic (Claude) — AI-powered document analysis
• Vercel — Hosting and file storage
• Neon — Database hosting

Each of these services has their own privacy policies governing their handling of data.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data. This includes encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), secure database connections, authentication and access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Uploaded documents and analysis results are retained while your account is active and may be deleted upon account closure. Cached AI responses expire automatically after 7 days. Usage and billing records are retained as required for accounting and legal purposes.
